Parmesan Crusted Tilapia

4 filets of tilapia 0 g
1 c. parmesan cheese, shredded 4 g
1 tbsp paprika 0 g
1 tbsp parsley, dried 0 g
1/2 tsp salt 0 g
1/2 pepper 0 g
Olive oil to coat 0 g
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Line a baking sheet with tin foil.
In a shallow dish or plate, mix the parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper together. Brush the tilapia filets with olive oil, then dip them in the cheese mixture until covered. Place the filet on the baking sheet. Repeat for all filets. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese mixture on top of the filets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes to melt the cheese more.
Notes:
We paired this with a side of roasted broccoli. To roast broccoli, coat it in olive oil, sprinkle some salt on it, then place it in the oven at 400º. Roasted broccoli takes 20-25 minutes to bake, so place this in the oven before you start preparing the fish. 1 cup of broccoli is 6 g of carbs. That's what you see above.
The fish will turn out flakier if the filets are completely thawed before baking.
